Orbitle Web — Terms of Service

1. What Orbitle Web is

Orbitle Web (http://localhost:3001) is the marketplace for websites built with Orbitle Web AI. Creators publish sites here; visitors browse them, open free ones, buy priced ones with Gold, and use them directly on Orbitle Web — no domain required. By using the marketplace, publishing to it, or spending Gold on it, you accept these terms. One Orbitle account and one Gold balance work across all Orbitle services.

2. Gold

Gold is Orbitle's single virtual currency. You can buy Gold packs here or on any other Orbitle service; the balance is shared. Gold has no cash value, is not legal tender, and can't be transferred between accounts — the only exception is creator payouts (§5). Gold purchases are final and non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. Welcome Gold may be granted once per account.

3. Buying and using sites

• The marketplace has two sections. Website templates are priced in Gold and bought once; Shops & experiences are free to open and sell products or extras insidethe site for Gold (§4). Both are hosted on Orbitle Web — creators don't need a domain.
• Buying a template grants your account permanent access to use that site on Orbitle Web, plus an editable copy in your own Orbitle Web AI studio — modify it with AI and deploy it as your own site. The creator keeps the original and everything they earned; your copy is yours to run.
• Your copy's licence is personal: don't republish or resell a substantially unmodified copy on the marketplace.
• Purchases are one-time and per-account. If a creator later unlists their site, you keep access for as long as the site's deployment exists.
• A purchase or in-site Gold spend always shows a confirmation first — Gold never moves silently. Confirmed spends are final; the creator earns them.
• Sites are community-built software running on their creators' deployments. Orbitle doesn't author them and can't guarantee their behaviour, availability, or fitness for any purpose. Report abusive sites to us.
• In-site unlocks bought with Gold are session-scoped unless the site itself persists them; treat them like arcade purchases, not durable goods.

4. Publishing (creators)

Publishing happens from Orbitle Web AI and is optional — your site keeps working on its own URL or custom domain regardless. When you publish you confirm acceptance of these terms (recorded with a timestamp), set a price in Gold (or free), and may add a category and thumbnail.

• You grant Orbitle a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, list, embed, and promote your published site on the marketplace. You keep ownership of your site. Unlisting ends new sales; existing buyers keep access (§3).
• Content standards — published sites must not contain: hate speech or slurs; sexual or pornographic content; child-safety violations; self-harm encouragement; glorification of real-world violence or terrorism; drug marketplaces; scams, phishing, or malware; unlicensed third-party IP; or real-money gambling. Listings are screened at publish time and may be moderated, unlisted, or removed at any time.
• You are responsible for what your site does — including anything it charges for via Gold or via your own Stripe account — and for having the rights to everything in it.
• Prices may be 0 (free) to 100,000 Gold. You may change price or unlist at any time; changes never affect completed purchases.

5. Creator earnings & payouts

• You earn 100% of the Gold visitors pay for your site — site purchases and in-site purchases — into your earnings ledger.
• Earnings convert 1:1 into spendable Gold (minimum 100), or cash out via Stripe Connect at $3.50 USD per 1,000 Gold (minimum 2,000 Gold). The same earned Gold can only be claimed or cashed out once.
• Payouts require completed Stripe onboarding; you're responsible for your own taxes. We may withhold or reverse earnings that come from fraud, self-dealing, or terms violations.

6. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to defraud creators or Orbitle, manipulate earnings or rankings, probe or attack the platform or published sites, resell access, or automate purchases. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. Privacy

Account data lives with our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Stripe, Cloudflare, Vercel). Published sites may collect their own data under their creators' responsibility — read what a site asks of you before giving it.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The marketplace and all published sites are provided “as is”, without warranties. To the maximum extent the law allows, Orbitle's total liability for any claim related to the marketplace is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Orbitle in the past 12 months or USD $50.

9. Changes & termination

We may update these terms with notice on this page; continued use is acceptance. You can stop using the marketplace at any time. If your account is terminated for violating these terms, undistributed earnings from violations may be forfeited; legitimate claimable earnings remain payable for 90 days.
